The Tents

Four spacious safari-style canvas tents are set on raised platforms with sweeping views of the Wrangell Mountains and Kennicott Valley. Inside, each tent features a comfortable queen bed (queen + twin in Spruce Camp) with premium linens, a warm down comforter, and hot water bottles for added coziness, along with a small table and chairs and a portable propane heater for cool Alaska evenings. Step onto your private covered deck to take in the midnight sun or watch for wildlife in the valley below.

Policies

  • 2-night minimum stay (3 nights over July 4 weekend)

  • Check-in between 3–6pm (free early check-in available when possible)

  • Ages 10+ (exceptions for full camp bookings)

  • No cooking on-site for bear safety (a casual outdoor grill is located about 1 mile from camp; additional dining available in McCarthy & Kennicott)

  • No pets

  • Pack it in, pack it out

Power stations are suitable for phones and small devices only and are not compatible with CPAPs or other high-draw equipment.
