Meals at Camp McCarthy are meant to be simple and bear-safe. Camp is not designed for full cooking or elaborate meals, so we recommend bringing pre-prepared foods, picnic-style meals, and cooler-friendly favorites. Each tent has space for one standard cooler plus dry shelf storage; we provide the dishes, silverware, and everything you need for cleanup. Here are some ideas to help with planning:

Nearby dining
After a full day of adventure, most guests end up at The Potato for dinner — the local favorite for hearty food, drinks, and great company. There is also the Golden Saloon and Salmon & Bear fine dining.
Glacier View Grill is another great option located about one mile from Camp.
